Your House Sitter

A Digital Nomad

I’m an avid Blogger.  I don’t mind where I live, as long as I have access to an internet connection.

When I was still at school, I had a plethora of pen-pals from all over the world.  I thought it was a great concept – sharing ideas and information with people you knew you’d probably never meet, but that you connected to on some level.  I loved writing letters, and raced home from school most nights to check if the postman had delivered a letter from Poland, Ceylon or Indonesia.

Nowadays, with the advent of the internet, it’s a lot easier to build your own personal community, based on your interests.  The internet has a lot to answer for, and love it or hate it – it’s not going away.  Instead, it will continue to evolve.

Look how easy it is to connect House Sitters with Homeowners!  There’s House sitting services, forums like Lonely Planet, and online classifieds, like Craigs list, and of course social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

From my perspective, the best thing about the internet, is the ability for people to provide information and share learning’s and experience with others, and that’s the goal of “Your House Sitter”.

Although my site is a platform to advertise my House Sitter services, it’s also a way for me to help other House Sitters and Homeowners, navigate the “how’s” and “where to..” about the House Sitting process.
